General Settings

Configure general NotiVR behavior

General application settings are found on the General tab.

Hide Desktop Window

Don't show the NotiVR settings window when the application starts. NotiVR will still run in the system tray.

Default: Off (window shows on launch)

You can always open the settings window later by clicking the NotiVR icon in your system tray.

Streamer Mode

Hides notification content to prevent leaking personal information on stream. When enabled, notification text is replaced with placeholder content so viewers can't read your messages.

Default: Off

Advanced Settings

These settings are hidden behind an expandable section and are intended for specific use cases.

Legacy XSOverlay

Uses the older UDP notification API for XSOverlay instead of the current integration. Only enable this if you're using an older version of XSOverlay that doesn't support the newer API.

Default: Off

Developer Mode

Displays extra debug information on notifications. Useful for pack developers or when reporting issues.

Default: Off
